Andrew1 Posted July 22, 2009 Share Posted July 22, 2009 lol, another weird problem, I modelled a couch and it's built in poly no overlaping faces, nice geometry, looks great, now I got the whole object uvw mapped (box mapping)in order to receive a nice bump kind of leather immitation, I noticed when in Poly mode having nurms subs checked on the bump texture renders great around the seems, now when I checked off the nurms subs and got turbo smooth modifier in the stack the bump texture when rendered appears distorted around tight corners in the model itself anywhere else appear great same as in nurms subdivision. Andrew1 Posted July 22, 2009 Author Share Posted July 22, 2009 lol , sorry I just noticed my turbo smooth modifier should be down before uvw mapping mod in the mod stack thinking is so limited when you work under pressure and don't examine the modifier stack !!!!!
