Dave Buckley
well done my lighting. decoration was just to throw some colour in other than completely neutral. Now i just don't know what sort of room it should be? Sitting area? Eating area? Bathroom? I'm open to suggestions? Ignore the 'stamp/border' it's just my template, and ignore any effects, just been playing with photoshop whilst on lunch. it is going to be a night scene if you didn't guess, but there are no IES lights in here, it is lit entirely with sky portals, just to practice different methods and i feel it gives a much smoother result than photometric area lights i'm not being lazy, i just found the shell on my hard drive and can't decide what to do with it, and can't remember what i set out to do with it
danb4026
I think a bathroom/spa area would well suit the space. The far wall looks like a nice backdrop to a shower/sauna area.
mbowers
Perhaps a workout area? Game room?
Horhe
Looks like a cosy fireplace. Are you going to keep this POV? Dont think it will show much in the end, a wider angle would work a bit better IMO.
Dave Buckley
nope not going to be keeping the angle. its actually an exercise in composition, but first i want to make it into something nice/different, rather than just a typical residential room (living/dining/kitchen/bedroom)
Horhe
If you push the back wall further back, you might just turn it into a museum which can turn out very cool in the end. An72
I think a bathroom/spa area would well suit the space. The far wall looks like a nice backdrop to a shower/sauna area. I agree! The paint on the wall was just suitable for a bathroom spa as it was so relaxing. Daily life is becoming more stressful and so a way of total relaxation is needed at the expense of your own home. There's nothing like some "me" time in a luxurious spa after a long day. And it takes just a little effort to transform your own bathroom into just such a place, an oasis in which to relax and rejuvenate. You can find lots of Advice on How to Turn Your Bathroom into a Spa Oasis online. Different variety, different setup to feed your desire for an awesome bathroom spa. I believe your space was perfectly suitable for this. Edited September 14, 2010 by An72
