Can anyone tells me a good link for 2d people to use in interior shopping mall shots??

the best is to take a pic yourself using a digital camera. 2d library usually looks weird in the render.

 

be careful of the security guards though, they won't allow you to take picture inside the mall, but if you act like tourist and act ignorant, you can get away

i agree.

 

a lot of artists purchase and use internet available libraries of people cut outs. most of these are not very adapted to individual needs, and used by a lot of artists so quite common.

 

it really is worth the 1/2 day or so to go out yourself and shoot your own footage. it's so much more controllable and satisfying on your part.

they just launched they'r service. apparently the quality is extremly good.

I found a great way to take pics without p***ing off the guards or shoppers - take a friend and ask them to pose in front of you (off to the side a bit) - then take a snap as people walk by. Take the images in fairly high res - that way you arnt in the face of the people doing their mall crawling.

 

Ive also found that posing and snapping people you know would like a charm!
