ok so here's the real reason i wanted to revisit this charrette. i want to improve on different lighting scenarios, particularly evening/night/dusk shots.

i like the purple one better tbh.

needs some more things happening, feels lonely and a bit staid with the camera back so far.

it seems a bit darker after uploading it on here also.

 

i'm going to populate it as a progressive thing, just want to get lighting scenarios worked on a bit more, then composition

 

what camera settings do people typically use for exteriors?? are there any rules of thumb

I don't think there is any rule about camera settings. Well maybe if you use DOF it's good too keep f-number not too low
