nelpiper
Hi guys. I'm using VRAY but for some reason, the RAYTRACE MESSAGE DIALOGUE BOX keep popping up everytime I hit render. Does anyone know a way to turn it off? Thanks.
BrianKitts
get rid of any raytrace maps in your materials, and don't use raytraced shadows in your lights. I know the maps cause the error, and I'm guessing the shadow setting would to. (always use vrayshadow with vray) Vray HATES raytracing. slows it down. So don't "turn off" the message, but get rid of the cause.... it will work out better for you that way. Edited July 30, 2009 by BrianKitts

Jan
If you don't use raytrace, you can put this script at startup a=RaytraceGlobalSettings() a.enable_raytracing = false a.showMessages = false a.showProgressDlg = falseRegards
