danb4026
Every once in a while I run into a situation where objects will move, rotate, etc. a tremendous amount when I only want to move them a little. Once it starts, I have not been able to stop it from happening. Sometimes if I restart max the problem is resolved, sometimes not. I've tried resetting xform, making sure I am near 0,0,0...etc., but to no avail. What causes this crazy behavior and is there and easy fix? bev.lynn
Dan, Have you un-checked Selection Sensitivity on the Viewport Configuration -> Steering Wheels tab?

JonRashid
Check how far your model is from the origin. Cad models sometimes have their origin miles away from the model. This results on all coord numbers being huge. As a result when they are rounded up or down accuracy is lost
jinsley
Dan, Have you un-checked Selection Sensitivity on the Viewport Configuration -> Steering Wheels tab? Bev, my hero... why does this happen? Happens on and off with me too. Especially when working with File Link Manager...
TSuess
It happens often when Autocad Files are linked. Esp if those models are created using blocks.
