danb4026
First, I use LWF with everything set to 2.2 in Gamma/Lut Correction...affect color selectors and affect material editor checked, Input gamma 2.2 and Output Gamma 2.2. I am also color mapping using Linear and a Gamma of 2.2. My problem is that the color of the material in the Viewport is much darker than the preview in the Material Editor. The Material Editor color is what I want. Am I wrong that if EVERYTHING is set to 2.2, that the viewport should at least match the Material Editor Preview??? Added.....the object is well lit, so it is not the lighting.

BrianKitts
appearance in the viewport will be different based on how you have the viewport lighting set. In 2010 if you're using hardware lighting with the shadow options enabled (killer feature for setting your sun placement) then everything is going to be really dark on you. And definitely won't match the editor. I prefer to keep it set to 2 default lights so that you can see all the faces, I don't worry about it matching the material editor.... as long as the render matches.
