big_perm
I've created a sandbox surface from imported CAD contours. Is there a tool that will help apply a jpeg of the aerial photo to the surface? I have tried importing the jpg as a texture but it only applies itself to 1 face at a time! Thanks
danb4026
How is your sandbox surface modeled? Is it many faces? If so, do you have multiple material id's applied to it? A screenshot might be helpful.

cadmunkey
You need to 'project' the texture onto the sandbox face. 1) file/import/(select your image) 2) click to place the image in the modelspace, and drag to resize accordingly (resize slightly larger than your sandbox terrain) 3) position the image above your terrain, face upwards (ie blue axis line perpendicular to the image face) 4) context click the image and 'explode' 5) context click/texture/projected 6) with the paint bucket tool selected, hold the "alt" key while clicking the image (this will sample the image) 7) release the "alt" key and use the paint bucket on your terrain.
