24" vs 26"....please help

I work primarly w/3D apps /what a suprise / and I starting thinking about moving from 22" to ......24 or 26"???

Question is on phisical size of the panel, you guess, isnt 26" to big for looking? Should I move my head and neck all the day left-right-left-right....pixel size on 26 is 0.280 and I like that, while 24 is somehow smaler, 0.27o or similar.

I would go with 26 but I am afraid of to big screen if you understand me?

Also does anybody have ViewSonic VP2650WB? Is it Ok choice?

if you are moving your head and neck all day long to pan back and forth on the screen... then you are probably sitting too close.

 

I have never had any troubles with having too much screen space... more space = less crowding and more area to lay out reference material, etc... I am currently on 28" screen from Samsung at home and I love it.

I also do not have problem on moving head, even with a 22' and a 23' side by side.

I use a Dell 27" and have no issues. I have the monitor sitting on a sliding base so I can easily move it closer or further away depending on what I'm working on.

 

At first I thought the 27 was to big but after a few weeks I go used to it and I can't wait to buy another.

No questions about it... 24! 26 has the same resolution, it means the screen is not sharp as 24 is.... / I have one, so i can say that..

Thanx everybody!!! I think that I'm gona go with.... I still do not know, as I can not look 26" in the market, you buy it and they order it...funny.

I have a 24" and love it. with 26" being the same resolution I went with a 24" instead. I have never looked back on this decision.
