Color Bleeding Question

I have a wood floor that is causing too much color bleed onto the ceiling I want the ceiling to remain a nice white.

I created a VrayOverride material for the floor, so it has a clean white material used to creating GI. This solves the color bleeding onto the ceiling, but it also causes the floor color to not bleed onto anything else, which I want it to do to keep the image warm.

Is there a way to have only the ceiling exclude the floor from its GI?

if all your trying to do is to limit the color bleed onto the ceiling and not the rest of the scene..... then you can select the ceiling and in it's vray properties just turn down the "recieve GI" value for the object only.

then you won't have to use an override material that would in turn affect everything in the scene.
