reptar
Hi, i am currently learning Autocad 2009. I've gone through quite a few tutorials on 2D design but as a user of 3D Studio Max I am trying to find tutorials revolving around a pipeline from autodesk to 3d max. Do such training exist? Thankyou,
Cad64
What type of pipeline will you be trying to create? Will you be Importing 2D linework as a base to use for building models, or will you be building models in Autocad and then Importing those into Max? Either way, the procedure is pretty straightforward. Just Import your .dwg file directly into Max. There's really not much to it. Or you can use the File Link Manager to link your CAD file into Max. This allows you to go back and make changes to the CAD file and have it update in Max without having to delete it and then re-insert it.
