RAM: CORSAIR 3x2gb 1600 Dominate Triple Channel (or OCZ?) (~190$) VGA ................. here is my big problem! after seeking, find 260gtx may be good choice. But I want now, it's better from quadro with some price? Also I have problem in choice best brand for my needs, Gainward, XFX, eVGA or some? - Attend that I need enough powerful VGA for run high polygon 3dsmax 2010 scenes. POWER: Corsair TX-850 (~195$) (Is it necessary 850w?) CASE: ?????? (I want it be movable, cool, quiet and beauty) Monitor : ????? (May it's needed to pay my money for other parts so just want you help me too choise some good 20" - no wide! crt or lcd) HDD: I have external 1TB hard so don't need big storage just I want it be safe and fast. Companioncube
do not get a quadro of the same price as a 260gtx because it will be rubbish. for the same price as a 260gtx you can get a quadro fx 580 and it is rubbish. much better to get the 260gtx. and for a monitor it is standard now to have a 22" widescreen LCD (crt is dead and rubbish anyway) and they have become very cheap. it gives you a good amount of space to work with on the screen and a good resolution

mohamad
@Companioncube: thanks. I select CRT to pay lower money and pay more for main parts. @rgb: I cannot buy from newegg.com.... it's really good website. MB: hmmm... n most articles, I read that Asus P6t recommended also I read some compare notes with BOXDX58SO and p6T Deluxe and result was that asus is much better choice. VGA So, EVGA is better brand? Monitor I don't want have wide screen.
Companioncube
its important to have a good screen, CRT damages your eyes badly and will lead to headaches because of the flickering. LCD is only a a tiny bit more, in UK i'm not even sure where i can get a CRT anymore. You won't regret getting LCD. reason to get widescreen is that you have more viewport space and your tools to the side, also watching movies and playing games is another good reason. you won't regret getting 22" widescreen. another reason for LCD is the space is saves on your desk. in the end its your choice, but its important to have a decent screen, theres no point in getting a powerful computer like that , then getting a 20" 4:3 CRT. mohamad
UPDATE: MB: What's your idea about EVGA E760. I want you compare it with Asus P6t Deluxe (or P6t) Power: CORSAIR CMPSU 850TX 850W CASE: NZXT LEXA (Aluminium) I decide to pay more, so I will pay max 1900$. Companioncube
good choice , you won't regret. in that price range try get a samsung monitor. for the motherboard, theres no reason to spend so much money on the EVGA E760 unless your planning to do some serious overclocking. Asus P6t is good and a lot cheaper, only get the Asus P6t deluxe if your planning to overclock
mohamad
As I said, I have not experience in overclocking and never do that. I don't know that I really need to OC it? If answer is negative, so P6T is better for me? I want you know that I want this PC work great for me for min 3 years. About CPU Fan, I need but separate fan? In differen web sites like newegg, I read different reviews that most of them recommended LG. Also I have LG 19" LCD and it's great. So do you have some special suggest?
Companioncube
theres no need to overclock a machine like that. just get the P6T it is a good idea to get a new cpu fan because the stock intel fans aren't very good and some good thermal paste. i'm not sure which fan to recommend because i don't know which site you are buying from? LG are also good, in the end its up to you. i can look at the sire you are buying from and recommend one
mohamad
unfortunately I cannot buy it from some good online stores like newegg. I need to buy those from shop center in my city (it will increase price). So just I need know which fan will be better. I see some recommends in this forum. it was NH-U12P SE1366 Is there better choice (I want it be enough cool and quiet)
mohamad
oh, I see that price of this fan is ~80$! I don't want OC my cpu (may do it later) so It's really necessary to buy FAN?
AJLynn
A heatsink with fan is required. If the CPU includes one, it will be good enough to use if you're not overclocking.
mohamad
that's great! I safe 70$. Just let me know that for best CPU usage, What will be max Temp? I get price of three MB in my country. Again I want say I never over clocked my system also I want my new system work good for me for amount 3 years. So with attend to price and m needs, let me know what of these will be bette choice? ASUS P6T: 295$ ASUS P6T Deluxe V2: 350$ ASUS P6T6: 285$
AJLynn
There isn't much difference between the regular and deluxe P6T's, if you're not going to OC. That isn't to say you can't OC using the regular, the deluxe just makes it easier to do more extreme OC'ing. I couldn't tell you the actual expected temp on an i7. mohamad
Thanks. Just have this question. I want know how much will become powerfull my MB after OC?
AJLynn
That depends on the amount of OC'ing, there are people going up to 4GHz by using a lot of cooling apparatus, but if you've got a good case and power supply and a decent heatsink and fan and your office is air conditioned you should be able to get 20% without too much trouble. mohamad
hm... so I think I don't need to OC it. So I will going for P6T. CPU, MB, POWER, RAM and CASE selected. I am wait for VGA price. EVGA become limited in Iran. I must wait for tomorrow!
mohamad
For confidence, I want become sure that what is my best choice for VGA for 250$-350$? I select gfx265 (or gfx 275). But read some where that 4850x2 is more better choice (I have any information about this vga!). You know that I need VGA for make high polygon scenes in 3dsmax 2010.
