Denver/Boulder Co what to do

Depends on what youre into. Theres something for everyone there.

As for The Denver area, downtown had a ton of bars, restaurants, and shops. A lot of microbrewries, art and history mueseums. 16th street mall is a great walk, and the LoDo (Lower Downtown) area is great too (located near Coors Field).

Outside of Denver, There is the red rocks area and amphitheather (check to see if there will be a concert in town at the same date as you), this is one of the best places in the country to watch a concert the accoustics are amazing (because of the neatural rock formations around you). If youre willing to drive some, head into the mountains on I-70 west, there are many places to hike and see some fantastic views (Hanging Lake is one of my fav). Stop in the Dillon/Breckenridge area or head to Glenwood Springs, where they have natural warm spring water pools, pretty refreshing. Plus the drive itself is rewarding.

As for boulder, there is a ton too. A lot of restaurants and shops. Check out Pearl Street, Check out CU campus, or drive up baseline Road up to the moutains and see over the Boulder county. I highly recommend heading to Estes Park; Elk by the hundreds walk around freely (its mating area). Theyre used to people so its safe.

Thats just a start, let me know if you would like to know more! Anything specific.

I lived there for almost 10 years and I think you named just about every thing there really...haha.

Lots of great food there. I didn't go to the high high up scale places I was only a student but Charlie Browns was a nice place. Small very nice. Live piano player type of place. Spaghetti some thing another. Last part of the name is escaping me. Wanna say Spaghetti Factory. Was awesome! Older building with lots of junk inside like old trolleys that you can actually din inside of. It was very different but very cool place to take a date. Other then that lots of hiking trails that he mentioned. Any where you drive to is an awesome drive. Whether it's open fields or mountains around you its a great view all around.

Brian covered a lot of the good ones :)

Looks like you're looking for the outdoor experience but f you want to take in some good architecture I'd recommend

Libeskind/Davis Partnership's Denver art museum & museum residences

Michael Graves' Public Library

David Adjaye's Museum of Contemporary Art on 15th & Delgany

The new sugar cube building on 16th St. and Wazee

The Big blue bear by Lawrence Argent outside the convention center, I love that guy.

Those are one's I can think of for now... If you're more into the urban culture and larger infill trends this is a great blog to check out before you head over for some great background on the city - http://denverinfill.com/

Have a great trip!
