danb4026
Rather than opening the Matereial/Map Navigator and loading each material one by one into the Material Editor, is there a way to simply "populate ME with scene materials"?
mattclinch
there is a BlurScript called MaterialStuffer that does just this, either from scene, selection etc...

Crazy Homeless Guy
I haven't used Blur's version, but we use this one. It either fills the material editor with what is selected, or all of the materials, ....and it will open a clean material editor if need be. This is useful if you have a lot of complex materials, or a lot of multi/sub materials. I use them often enough that I have them hot keyed. http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/open-clean-material-editor-zorb http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/populate-medit-zorb
