Bret Bullough
Is there a way to change multiple objects layers at once? The only waty I have found to change propeties is to select all you want to change, and then chage one objects layer at a time in the querry attribute window. There should be a way to do this all in one click for multiple layers at a time. :angeuhoh:
Frosty
I'm not sure I understand your question correctly, but I'll try to answer what I think you are asking. You have several objects on various layers. You would like to mover them all to layer "door frames" (example). Using the attributes pane is the most inefficient way of accomplishing this. Instead, select all of the objects you wish to change layers and activate the layer you wish them to move to. Use the layer tool (located with the ghost/unghost tools) and click anywhere in the view port. Presto! All selected object move to the activated layer. If I have misinterpreted your question, please clarify.

Crazy Homeless Guy
you can automate the selecting by using 'edit' 'select by..'. this will allow you to select by attributes. so if all of your door frames are the same color, you can tell it to select by that color, ect... i use the select by extensively, and recomend setting up a key short cut for it. Frosty
Good point. The "select by" features are very useful. I tend not to use them tho because of my modelling methods. I often need objects to have different surface atributes even though they are similar or on the same layer.
