mx3cki4e Posted August 25, 2009 Share Posted August 25, 2009 Hey Guys, Pardon my being novice but I have this problem which involves the Volume Lighting Effect with a Photometric Target Direct Light, then i have set the shadow type to 'Area Shadows' because when i tested the rest they do not go through the window opening ans i don't know why. But here is the problem, upon choosing the type of shadows (which is 'Area Shadows') as well as the light type, it passes through the whole room structure (walls), i just want the volume light effect to pass through the window opening. I have attached an image of my test. If there are any better solutions and lighting usage and settings on solving this problem i would appreciate it. Thanks.
