cant comment on formz as i havent used it, but i do know it's a competant cad package and collegues of mine rave about it.

 

rhino is great too, but its a nurbs modeller, so more suited to more 'organic' and curvy shapes.

a waste of time for normal architecture because of the poly count during exporting. unless of course you keep it entirely in rhino ;)
