huntch3
Hi Everyone, I posted in another post a question asking how to lighting some dark areas in a section rendering, so I heard from some people that the gamma 2.2 correction is good...but when i tried that, my image was too washed out...so I read that you have to also change the material brightness to corespond with the new 2.2 gamma setting..anyways what do you think about this method....also for the attached image, I just used 5 omnis (diffuse and specular) at .2 power, lining up at the opening, which looks ok i guess...but do you have any suggestions...Ive also tried a vray light at that openeing, which people have sugessted, but the shadow line then looks not so great...thanks for reading! danb4026
Why haven't you tried a vraysun?
bmcgonigle
I've used a large vray light placed above the model facing down, set to .25 and invisable with the roof plans excluded. Very quick and easy fix and very controllable. If the ceilings needed some brightening I would just do the reverse and have a light pointing up with the floor plans excluded and the light set to .1 or .
