carlotristan3d
My workstation was recently upgraded from max8 to max 2009. I noticed that max 2009 is slower. my hardware config remains the same.i'm using p4 dual processor and my graphics card is nvidia gforce 6800. our IT guy suspects that max 2009 works better with higher grapichs card, has anybody else had this problem? appreciate any tips, suggestions out there. thanks. Oleksandr Kramer
Max 2009 is very slow because of the Steering Wheel and Viewport Cube Remove from the folder "stdplugs" AutoCamResENU.dll and AutoCamMax.gup Is also very slow working "Select by Name" In folder "Defaults" find all "CurrentDefaults.ini" and locate each of them this is line: ; Select By Name Defaults and change to ; Select By Name Defaults [selectByName] DisplaySubtree=0 [scene Explorer] SelectByNameUsesSceneExplorer=0 ------main line Please be careful In Max 2010 these issues are fixed
