uninstalling

Delete the program folder (wherever you installed it). I don't think FormZ has a true windows installer. It just copies program files to your install folder and creates shortcut items on desktop I think. I've never found an unistall for it besides just deleting it and cleaning my registry (do this at your own risk - if you have no experience with this just leave it alone). I've used FormZ 3.8 and 3.9 and both I just deleted. I don't use Z anymore by the way.

Also, I don't think FormZ would make MAX crash. It's a pretty benign program (no uninstaller!!) I've never had this happen with both installed. Try posting more information about your setup to the hardware / max forum to troubleshoot any crashing problems your having with MAX.

No, it doesnt look like it, but its protection sure does, btw.

The fact that it aint such a windows friendly program is one of the reasons I havent even opened the program in a few months.

In the past, I too was looking for an unistaller, but... nada. I did all the things Xavier mentioned before me and hoped that the OS forgot about Z just as I did... ;)

i have always assumed formz had no windows un-installer because of its history of being ported over from mac. it is just the way they were used to doing things, and have never changed it. when you run formz, it creates 1 or two files in c:/windows or c:/windows/system32. i can not remember which. this is where it stores what pref file you are using, and that kind of stuff.
