New to 4.1__Help with setup

Just started using 4.1 and am having some difficulties with setting up my short cuts.

 

1. I set up MOVE to be ALT+W , and it works but it opens the WINDOW drop down at the same time. I can't find it in the shortcuts (the WINDOW drop down) to change it.

Any ideas?

 

2. When I choose a tool and use it, it deselects the tool, making me select it again to use it.

It's probably there somewhere, todays the first day so there's lot to discover.

 

Lastly, if anyone knows of way to just set it back so it works like the 3- versions!!

is this in the pick tool options? double click the pick tool to open them if you don't have them open already. make sure 'return to pick tool' is not checked.

No, that was not selected. It's odd. Somehow I'll need to figure it out as it wastes a consirable amount of time.

got to formz.com, and use their web board. a moderator from formz tech support will probably reply within 15 minutes. they are great about being on top of the questions that get posted there. it has been awhile since i played there, and i can not remember if the tech guy leaves the forum at 5 or 6pm.
