Seems like a good tool, but there is no money spare here at the moment, i would love to get my hands on RT also, but times are very hard in Ireland. Anybody any ideas how to do the same as Vray scatter. Is it as simple as proxy and scatter tools, what is the difference. It represents the object as a texture ? Help would be appreciated. Dave Buchhofer Posted September 8, 2009 Share Posted September 8, 2009 the main advantages are you can use textures/splines/etc to steer where the items are placed, its more a workflow thing (in placing the items) than any sort of end result that can't be replicated with normal max tools.
