nelpiper
Yes Tom. My wife is getting a PHD placement, so we're both going. In her case is easier because the university is going to be "behind" her back. It's not that easy for me though. I have to find a company that is willing to sponsor my H1-B since I have a EU passport but nothing relating me to the US.
Tommy L
Yes Tom. My wife is getting a PHD placement, so we're both going. In her case is easier because the university is going to be "behind" her back. It's not that easy for me though. I have to find a company that is willing to sponsor my H1-B since I have a EU passport but nothing relating me to the US. That is going to be incredibly tough. My H1B was tricky, that was before the economic slowdown.
AndyC
Agreed Tommy, that is a VERY tough call to do right now. Do you already have one Nelson? Might want to check on the process if not. Its brutal! Good luck!
