msanandkumar
Hi this is Anand i have a scene(exterior animation), i have calculated irradiance map and light cache in a right way, but while rendering irradiance map is recalculated once again for every frame, i dont know why its acting like this.......... even i rechecked all settings and they are correct, if any one can suggest something to solve this it will be of great help, thanks in advance. tayrona
In your scene, there are materiales using interpolations. you should uncheck this option to avoid the "aditional passes".
msanandkumar
Hi Tayrona........ msanandkumar
Hi Tayrona....... It took me 2 hours to search all materials , found 2 interpolations, but after i finished with that, i put render again it is showing same thing,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, i mean once again it is calculating the Irradiance map:eek:. Do you think i missed some interpolation checks:confused:? or this is caused by something else? Please suggest.....
kao bebird
Do you set the irradiance map mode ? Usually, the the irradiance map mode is set to Single frame by default. Set to Incremental add to current map for multiple views or fly through. And set to Animation (prepass) &(rendering) for animation. May my answer help you ? msanandkumar
Hi Kao thanks for your reply........... I actually calculated irradiance map using incremental add to current map, and now i am using it using from file option........ i think this is correct. As i am not doing any dynamic animation in the walkthroug. But when it renders, it once again recalculates irradiance map........... so can any tell me how to solve this problem:confused:
tayrona
but the problem is now i have to search thousands of materials in the scene to check if that is on or not, There is an script to change interpolations globally (and other v-ray settings): "V-ray Automator"... it is free and easy to install and use.
