Devin Johnston
When I use this option the button that is supposed to un-isolate everything in my scene never appears, how do I get that button to show up or how do I unisolate things without it? BrianKitts
if you lost the button you can always right click in the viewport and select "unhide all" can't find any lines in the .ini file that hold it's position, so I'm not sure how to reset it other than resetting all of max. perhaps it's just offscreen and you can use a tool like snapwindows.exe to get it back? Devin Johnston
I didn't want to do that because I had many things turned off before I isolated the object that I don't want to have to locate and turn back off. The problem is that the computer I'm using once had a dual monitor setup, for what ever reason Max or Windows likes to locate certain windows off the monitor space in the phantom zone. Devin Johnston
Awesome Brian that did the trick, where did you find that program?
Crazy Homeless Guy
Anyone ever figure out how to hotkey un-isolate? I remember spending time trying to figure that one out, but didn't have any luck. It would save me time because often that button becomes hidden behind some of the other boxes I have open. BrianKitts
Awesome Brian that did the trick, where did you find that program? I didn't travis did.... ask him BTW... that little program is really great for when you're home at night remote logging into your work computer to check on renderings through a VPN, and you left the backburner monitor, or some 3dsmax toolbar on your secondary monitor.
