Jason Matthews
If you haven't seen this you should check it out. Looks pretty easy to use and renders fast. Now the question I have is does it work with animations. http://www.trinity3d.com/store/Autograss-p-2028.html
Ricardo Eloy
US$ 275? Sounds a bit too expensive for grass...
Devin Johnston
That's $275 for 5 licenses which reminds me of the way Maxwell licensing worked and I didn't like that. I'd buy it if it was $275 and unlimited render node licensing, it's just to expensive.
Jason Matthews
US$ 275? Sounds a bit too expensive for grass... I agree! I think it is too expensive however the thing that stands out to me the most is the RAM optimization feature that will auto adjust to better maximize the system. I can't say I do a lot of grass in my typical renderings but it could prove a huge time saver.
WAcky
Yeah theres a big discussion going on over at the chaosgroup forums about this. I think the general consensus is that VrayScatter is better value.
