Crazy Homeless Guy
So, ...a question that is hopefully blatantly obvious, but one I don't have a solid answer for. Does anyone have a good solution for rotating environment maps around the Z or W axis? When I key in the rotation the map, it doesn't behave like it should. See the attached image. The image on the right is normal. The image on the left is me trying to rotate it so that I see a different view for the horizon, but still one that shows the horizon. I would like to do this in the environment slot, and not resort to things like mapping the image to the inside of a sphere, and rotating the sphere. Please tell me I am an idiot, and am not remembering something I learned at some point, or just never learned at all. Too often I wind up offsetting the map in Photoshop to get the correct view I want.
Stephen Thomas
Use the U offset instead

Stephen Thomas
Wrong one mate, under the offset heading at the left. Or rotate around the V axis under the angle heading seems to do the same job.
