Crazy Homeless Guy
Might as well just make this a thread on interesting Flickr search and gallery tools. http://labs.ideeinc.com/multicolr/ .
Crazy Homeless Guy
An innovative and proactive search, though does require a extension install. At least for FireFox. http://www.cooliris.com/ .
Stephen Thomas
That colour image search is absolutely amazing! Thanks for that, so useful. Cool iris is great too isn't it, I've been using it for a while now.

Dave Buchhofer
Nice one, i tend to use http://www.compfight.com as flickr search, as it allows you to choose to search by copyright and to search for 'originals' only, with an easy rollover of the pixel dimensions! Nice. Do you know of any that allow you to only search the high res photography on Flickr? That is what I was originally looking for.
Dave Buchhofer
no but compfight comes pretty close with the 'originals only' checkbox filtering out anything thats unusably small for the most part. I don't know of anything like the new "Larger than" filter in google maps unfortunately another one to try is http://www.ginipic.com/, its a standalone app that lets you search a bunch of stock photo sites in addition to images.google and flickr. be aware that the install can take FOREVER if you dont already have the latest .NET versions. Its kind of a clunky interface for filtering, but its thumbnails and previews and saving area great and smooth.
