Horhe
Cant recommend any books, I taught flash myself about 8 years ago, with the early Flash 5 version on trial and error basis, with the aid of help inside flash. As for tutorials and online resources try this: http://kirupa.com. Loads of tutorials and resources, and some links to other sites as well. Good luck! anton
I haven't done any flash sites lately so I won't be able to help much here. The way I started with flash was actually having a real project to work on and anytime you hit a wall Google and the Adobe Developer Forums would be your best friends. My opinion is to stay away from websites that are fully developed in Flash as they are not search engine friendly. Most of the search engines will not be able to read into the swf file and index your content thus that site will never rank high in a search. The best practice would be to use flash in combination with HTML and CSS to spice up the site with animations.
acjwalker
thats why you create documents and pdfs which google can see to appear in Google searches, there are many ways around it. Its a personal project, theme is hair stylist, for my wifes friend. Found some video tutorials which seem good. Cheers for the help so far.
