Jinmu Staddon
I graduated from architecture school this spring, very interested in doing arch viz. I was wondering if there is any way to get a list of firms that I might be able to apply to since I'm having a hard time making one on my own. Also, I feel like this would help me get a better idea of who's out there, and what kind of work they're doing. Furthermore, if you can think of any related work to suggest (video games, advertising, vfx?) and their respective firms/studios/offices i think many of us in the area could benefit from a list like this. And please resist the urge to post your pessimism; I think I've read enough doom and gloom these days. Words of encouragement are indeed welcome, though. I apologize in advance for a possible repost. AndyC
Welcome! There are few firms here. I know you dont want to here this but the reality is that times are tough, most laid off a good portion of their staff this year so there is a lot of competition right now and very little work. Howevere if you are good you have as good a chance as any so go for it, a few firms will take interns or very junior roles. Try Brooklyn Foundry, I think they are looking for that now (from what I can remember). Either way, good luck and welcome!
