nelpiper
Hi guys. I'm using MAX design 2010 x64 and TREESTORM. I brought a broadleaf to my scene and it looks quite good. There's a problem with the leaves though. There's strange white halo around the edges. My alphas are spot on but still they're there. Anyone has a brilliant idea? Thanks. WAcky
Go to the opacity map slot and set the blur to 0. It will automatically go to .01 but thats the lowest setting.
Crazy Homeless Guy
You might also want to try and take the white out of your texture map. Go ahead, and make a copy of the texture, and sample the leaf out past the current edge where it turns white. This way the opacity map will cut it off where the map is still green, and not at the border where it is going from green to white.

Joseph Petrino
I always check "none" in the bitmap filtering. Diffuse and opacity. Same as blur to 0 (as suggested before) I think.
jho
You should not have white color in your texture. Change the white color to a color similar to your leaf color.
pidge
forget about doing all of the above, just uncheck the premultiply alpha button in the maps rollout.problem solve i would think
