Jason Matthews
Hey everyone. I have been asked to put together 3 or 4 rendered panoramas with hotspots for a client. The problem I am having is that I have already rendered the panoramas in 3D Max and I cannot find software to do a simple task of linking them together. Any suggestions? Thanks,
AndyC
I used to use Stitcher a while ago, by RealViz, might be worth a shot.
WAcky
Is that stitcher by Autodesk now? A friend of mine used it the other day to make a panorama. It's looks tough to get used to but for your sake it should be easy. And it exports to quicktimeVR
chiquito
I once used BRYCE, some years ago, could it be worth a try? www.daz3d.com
kippu
pano2vr should do the hotspots and linking
Jimy
Photoshop actually has a pretty good stitcher under file>automate>panaramic or something like that. I've used a lot and it seems pretty good. If you want something with a bit more control on stitching points then PTGui is quite good.
Jason Matthews
Well the issue I have is that I already have the panoramics exported from 3D Max and I need to take them and add hotspots in them. The issue I am finding is that I cannot import .mov files into any of these programs. Maybe I need to look at exporting as a different file format. SandmanNinja
PanoWeaver is a good program - I use that for my 360x180 Fisheye sphericals for my photography business.
erickdt
I've been messing around with Flash Virtual Tour (trial version) from the people who make Panoweaver and I have to say that it's pretty sweet. I think I'll be requesting that we drop the ~$150 bucks for it!
BrianKitts
For setting up and hotlinking VR's.... VR Worx is a nice clean application. ($300) http://www.vrtoolbox.com/ If you're on a budget Panolink is another option ($30) http://www.panoshow.com/panolink/index.htm
erickdt
PanoWeaver is a good program - I use that for my 360x180 Fisheye sphericals for my photography business. You wouldn't happen to know if it's actually necessary to purchase multiple licenses for multiple users to use Easypano software would you? As it turns out the professional version is quite a bit more than I thought (~$800) and I'd like to avoid buying the 3 licences (I would be running it on 3 machines) if I don't have to. SandmanNinja
Oh - good question. Not sure, I'm a one-guy operation.
