Billabong
I cannot seem to get rid of the white on the back side of these leaves. The leaves are the ones from the broadleaf library.Ive changed thier bg color to match the leaf and it still doesnt work. Does anyone have any suggestions? I think I have all the info you need in the image, let me know if you need anything else and thanks for any help -B
Billabong
Also here is a render of the entire tree. I have made sure the matarial channels for the leaf, which were two, have both been textured. Ive tried messing with the tiling and the offset. nothing has worked so far
Billabong
I figured it out. Someone else had the same problem on CGTalk. Here is the solution they had, just in case someone else runs into the problem I've found the source of the problem. For some reason adding refraction to the VRay mat applied to the leaves removes the opacity and color maps. Not sure why, but I was just messing with it and that seems to be the cause. WAcky
Yeah I've had this problem before. Start playing around with the Vray2sided material. Thats where it's at for onyx leaves but render time shoot up pretty quickly.
