Tommy L
Hi guys, can I email someone this cad drawing and have them backsave it to 2005 format? Or am I going to have to pay stacks of money to update my outdated shambles.... Its a 1.3 meg file so should be a snap. Thanks, Tom. Cad64
Just download and install the Autodesk DWG TrueView program. It's free and will convert any version dwg to any other version.
SandmanNinja
+1 for Cad64... It's a great tool and I have no idea why this functionality isn't built-in to AutoCAD... I use it to convert 2009 files down to 2006. Seems to work for everything.

HamburgerTrain
Why don't you just use DWG TrueView from Autodesk next time? http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/index?id=6703438&siteID=123112
