braddewald
I was wondering if there is a script out there that acts like Max's optimize modifier but better. Max's version seems to be problematic for me, at least. Is there a script out there that can tackle this task? Conversely, is there a script to increase polygons? I am thinking about bumping up subdivisions like you can do in Mudbox. Is this possible? Is there anything on ScriptSpot that I'm just not searching for correctly? Dave Buckley
bump up subdivisions = turbosmooth?
braddewald
Dave, Turbo smooth affects the geometry though. I am looking for a way to maintain geometry and still bump up subdivisions. Tessellate works the same way but also modifies the geometry. Any ideas? BTW thanks for your comments in the critique section, I love getting feedback.
