jtiscareno
Quick question, maybe someone out there knows the fix. Problem: Keep loosing texture applications in my max file that is a link cad file from revit everytime I re-link the the file in max. I am using 201 for both max and revit, I export my revit 3d file into 2010 dwg format and then link it using the revit preset in max. But everytime there is an update of the revit file and I export and then link into max I loose some textures in objects that have not been changed or moved. I know that new geomtery created in revit comes in "new" but the whole point of linking the file is to have a smooth workflow between max and revit. Any ideas of the fix? I was told there might be a solution in the revit preset in max... thx

kris McIsaac
Sorry, I cant help, but I am also having this problem. The exact same thing happened in the last release but this was fixed with an update. Maybe they have repeated the same bug in this version. Verma
When using the revit preset, go to advanced tab and turn on the option "use scene material assignments on reload". This should let you keep the material assignments in max when you reload the linked file.
