hockley91
Can anyone help me normalize these maps? The top image is a loft with mapping and the bottom is a sweep with mapping. As you can tell the lofted object has the correct mapping, but it's all squished and distorted at the edges. The sweeped object I can't find where to modify the mapping. Is there any way to fix this? These are brick pavers along an entrance path. It will be mirrored . Thanks!
hkbasravi
I would assign a different UVW map for the curved parts and then play with the UVW map to get the size I want. If you delete the curved portions and then use planes and bend them into the curved shape, make sure you place the bend or edit modifier below the UVW map in the modifier stack. That should give you the result you want. And then you can link the pieces together or group them. This may not be the best way to deal with it. But it will produce the result you want. hkb
BrianKitts
I always have the best luck mapping lofts when using the real world scale option. Tick it in the loft settings, and then set your size in your materials texture map.
