wedekiba
Hello, I am currently designing an office and need help with my current renders. They just don't feel real to me, i don't know if its the lighting, materials, or maybe settings I'm using, but any suggestions or helpful critiques would be greatly appreciated. Thank You. I have attached the two most recent renders.
LuckyST
the floors looks incomplete to me. You might want to try using some bump/displacement on the carpet and tiles, so that they get a more realistic look. The tilling of the tiles is kinda off (try matching it so that the last row of tiles isnt cut off). in picture number 1, something is missing in the left part of the room; Try adding a plant or something. that blue metal sheet that unfolds from the stairs is a bit unreal; those big pictures on the wall, are they TVs or posters? In case they are posters they are way to much self illuminated (might use a spotlight or 2). there seem to be a couple of splotches in the sceene, so you might want to tune up the rendering quality. AndyC
heres my 2c. glass needs structure, support, steels. It looks unbelievable.is this the color glass that you want?glass needs more refraction, make sure its shelled or closed solidtiles are too common, quality tiles are a little uneven and the placement will cause slightly different refllection/spec properties for each onetoo many empty spaces in the room, add detailwork out tile joint details, set out the tiles like they will be placed in a real applicationcarpet looks like leather, add a tiny amount of displacement with a good tilable materialthere is a weird dark path at the corner at far left, looks like a really bad AO spottable looks fake, add structurevideoscreen looks fake, add surround or structure, also image needs to look illuminated, add bloom for an easy fakecheck your exposure/color correction. its way too blown out all over the placethe architectonica sign needs supportbreak up the glass into panelsceling lights, sprinklersprops, add a vase, magazine or good book or whatever you like on the tablethink color accent, maybe red or a green?cushions, pillows as accessories, make it softerLighting, look at lots of interior photos, you need to create ambient light, then accent lightI know the sun isnt coming in anywhere but if you can fake a window maybe behind camera to cast spec and bloom (contrast) overall you need to add a feeling of luxury, look at photos of office interiors, they are carefully lit. You have a long way to go, cant wait to see the finished piece!

LuckyST
try adding plants here and there. they're quick solution for blanks spaces. P.S. on another look those wall tiles look way to big, and kinda spoil the perception. They are so far at somewhere about 60 cm or 25"... that's way to big for a wall tile. try making them smaller. you might want to model the tiles instead applying the texture. Use the connect tool to make a grid and then chanfer it to get the grouts.
