sdds
i am working on an animation that contains a lot of geometry! The irr map has taken 12 hrs to compute 11%! This is way to long! Its an entire site containing around 200 houses, all of which haven't been modeled in house or with animation in mind, hence very dense meshes. My current approach is to proxy parts of the site to reduce the amount loaded per bucket. hopefully speeding this up somewhat. any thoughts are greatly appreciated! STRAT
what are your irr settings, and how long is the anim? we generally use irr settings of -3/-2 which is effective and fast.

ihabkal
what are your irr settings, and how long is the anim? we generally use irr settings of -3/-2 which is effective and fast. exactly, you don't need high settings, and if you do then you probably have super computers already. Even small scenes take many days to calculate with high settings.
