Fred Wasson
Has anyone used Got3d lately? Yesterday I purchased a but-load of textures but never got the option to download anything. My receipt stated that I would receive an email but never got one. Did I just louse my money? Is anyone else having this experience? Thanks Fred
STRAT
have you tried contacting them and telling them? Got3D are a reputable firm. it's up to you to follow up your order. i've never suffered problems with them.
TheAllusionisst
I have been worrying about David Silvernell (Got3D) as I haven't heard from him or gotten responses to emails for quite some time (He use to sponsor challenges, etc. and we kept in contact over the years). With that said, he is a stand up guy and am sure will make it right, he may just be pre-occuppied currently. He has always been a great guy. WAcky
They're still advertising over at vizdepot but there are a few entourage sites that seem to have become stagnant over the last 6 months...
Cad64
Have you checked your spam folder? Perhaps the email ended up in there?
Fred Wasson
Just wanted to say I finally got my textures yesterday. Everything looks good. I was just concerned because the site says “instant download” and I never got download instructions. I eventually received the download link the next day. I should be more patient. epictor.com
i do not know the system got3d is using, nor how you paid; but i can make some assumptions knowing our system. we do process all payments using paypal. in some rare occasions, paypal flags a payment as to be verified. this means, that someone at paypal needs to take a look at the order, and verify its legity. if this happens, the payment needs ~1 day to get completed. in any case, if i recall it right, got3d sponsored the vizdepot contest as well, meaning that some sort of 'activity' exists. just contact them and im sure you'll get an answer soon. we're normally trying to answer all requests within hours, though there always might be something that's delaying.. don't worry
