Noise
I have a scene which opens and it can be worked on however, there are many rendering issues, problems and crashes. How can I find out whether the file is corrupt or if there is something in the scene which is playing up? Thanks N
mattclinch
the old trick is to merge objects one by one from the corrupt scene into a new, fresh scene which renders fine and see which object is causing the errors.
Noise
Yeah, I've done that numerous times and even identified a problematic piece of geometry and replaced it. Then it happens again - then the net rendering fails, then the model crashes on opening. I have actually sorted out the crashing on opening but can't figure out why certain animated geometry renders black for no reason. Fun and games. Tommy Burns
It may be that one of your texture maps are too big or corrupt
