markf
I am trying to import a light fixture that was modeled by someone else using Revit 2010. I'm using Max Design 2010. I'm importing with the most recent fbx importer. The fixture model with materials and a sun system all import fine. The problem is that no light source object imports. The person who modeled the fixture says that she has assigned a lamp and an IES file to the modeland the she can see the photometric web from the IES file in Revit. For some reason it doesn't come across in the import to Max. I should be able to select a light object and then see it's parameters in the command panel just like I would for any other light in Max? I should be able to see the IES file the lamp type, etc. Can anyone suggest what the problem may be? I think that she may be doing something wrong in Revit but I don't have Revit so I can't really offer her any suggestions. TIA for any help
