sygboe
Hi, I just purchased a Macbook pro with 4 gig of ram. I intend to dual boot into microsoft windows for 3d studio max and autocad. if anyone does this your help would be appreciated. will xp-32 bit suffice? or do i need 64-bit to utillise all the 4gigs of ram? I heard bootcamp doesn't support xp-64 bit, if so will vista 64 bit run better than xp-32 bit? my previous windows was xp-32 bit on my desktop. AJLynn
Soon I'm going to try installing Windows 7 on Boot Camp. My MBP isn't 64-bit but it seems the 64-bit installer should work - see this and look also in the comments section.

sygboe
I got windows 7 64 bit to work properly. with the provided apple drivers and bootcamp. it does run quicker than vista 64. so thats fine by me.
