braddewald
Sometimes when I am working with a large scene and I am ready to exit, max just won't close. I was wondering if anybody had encountered this or found a solution. Thanks. (3ds max 2009)
SandmanNinja
I've seen a Kill 3ds max program that will shut down max. I think the Autodesk Cleanup program gets confused sometimes. I don't recall it ever really happening to me, but I run scandisk and defrag my hard drives on a regular basis.
erickdt
This sometimes happens to me. I usually just kill MAX by ending it in the process list of the task manager. E

alias_marks
I don't have the problem but smells like a memory issue. This is just a shot in the dark, but might try to do a garbage collection to clear memeory before closing. * type gc() into the max listener Sometimes I close large max files and it takes close to a minute and a half to shut down... how long have you tried waiting?
