mi75
I had some time so I thought I'd play with an old model and try to get the hand drawn look. I'd love to try FinalToon but since I don't have it I had to make do with PS layers and wacom tablet. Workflow: - VRay toon with white override material - Std render - A few PS filters masked painted and blended over the Toon render. Any other suggestions or work flow ideas welcome as this was my first attempt. Critique away......
Ernest Burden III
If someone were setting up this rendering by hand they would probably not use 3-point perspective. Tracing a photo, maybe. Also, your line overshoots are all about the same. They should either emphasize the vertical or horizontal so the effect is dynamic and adds to what you are saying about the architecture. mi75
Thanks for the feedback guys. Great tip on the line overshoots, I'd never thought about it but it makes sense. Also could you elaborate on why they wouldn't use the 3 point perspective if drawing by hand? Mart
