charlemagne
I've read the topic on maya for architectural visualisation. Ok with me, but what about visualisation in general. I find maya very efficient in modeling, and would like to start my own business, for visualising not only (maybe even few) architecture, but mechanical, environmental, ... etc. So modeling issues could be of importance here. I have been looking at Cinema4D for their rendering and their connectivity to vectorworks, but I'm unaware of the possibillities of exporting geometry from Maya to C4D (I know C4D doesn't support nurbs. It seems to me C4D is a lot easier to learn, but the UI is not as fast as maya.(for me) The rendering is A LOT faster. I also have a hardware question, but I post that where it's supposed to be.
