jucaro
Hello everyone, does anyone know to put blocks to follow a curved path? I'm really stumped with this problem. A good technique or a link is greatly appreciated.

jucaro
This is just going to be a 2D drawing, so max is out of the solution. As advanced as autocad has been, it really makes me wonder why it has no align/spacing tool much like max and viz has. The thing is I am drawing an amphitheatre and I would like to align the chairs onto a curve complete with its rotation and spacing requirements. ACAD may have the built-in tools for this. But for now, its simply lost within me. Help is greatly appreciated. I'm still digging through the autodesk newsgroups for this.
Victor Erthal
Asim has resumed the whole process prety well. That command is a kind of spacing tool (without gui) that work well. Type "divide". It will do the job.
