videep
Hello Everyone, Actually i just textured a car in max and vray. Now what i want to do is to simply composite with a photo. I am attaching the render of the car and the photo that i want to composite the car in. I dont know how to start wth, but i put the image in the background in and checked use background option. Now how to match the lighting??? Please help me!!
tayrona
IMO: Render passes and go photoshop is faster than trying to match in max..
Nic H
you need to construct some kind of 3d environment from that photo or a similiar photo to get believable reflections / lighting id look around for a similiar looking hemispherical hdri. SandmanNinja
Agree with the above - a HDRI is gonna make it look real. There's a mental ray shader that makes shadows - I forget what it is now, but do a render pass with that.
videep
ThankYou Joel. Actually I am rendering the scene with Vray. So there is a shader called matte/shadow. I have applied that. ThankYou for your reply. I have just kept the scene to render. Will get back as soon as it is rendered. ThankYou...
