dande
3DS Max Design 2010 I have animated a camera by creating a dummy and a spline. I have used the spline as a path constraint and then linked a camera to the dummy. When I create an animation the camera is shaky as if it is on an old shaky bus or something. Does anybody have any idea what's causing this and how I can prevent it.
Nils Norgren
Check to see how far you are from the origin (0,0,0) when max scenes get really far from the origin, the finite space an object can inhabit gets large, and then animated objects "jump" from one spot to another. Just one thing to check, -Nils
Nic H
put a normalize spline modifier on your line with small segments. this should fix it, also maybe uncheck constant velocity if you are using the curve editor for percentage with a bezier float. dande
Thank you for your feedback. The option that worked was moving the whloe model to the origin
