Sketchrender
Am I right this is a great advance is it not.? Can somebody explain the process to me please. Can we model in max and export it to the engine. How do we use it , for arc Viz work, that is not going to criple the time scale of a project. Most projects are a week all in at the moment. mrcamper
UDK http://developer.nvidia.com/object/udk.html Also: Mastering Unreal Technology, Volume I: Introduction to Level Design with Unreal Engine 3 http://www.amazon.com/Mastering-Unreal-Technology-Introduction-Design/dp/0672329913/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1257545880&sr=8-1 Mastering Unreal Technology, Volume II: Advanced Level Design Concepts with Unreal Engine 3 http://www.amazon.com/Mastering-Unreal-Technology-Introduction-Design/dp/0672329913/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1257545880&sr=8-1 Mastering Unreal Technology, Volume III: Introduction to UnrealScript with Unreal Engine 3 http://www.amazon.com/Mastering-Unreal-Technology-III-Introduction/dp/0672330822/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1257545880&sr=8-3 It's a good place to start .... You can use MAX models You can use it for all the things you think you can use it for: It's a design communication tool - the best available. Show the comprehensive design to the client..(the good and the bad ) Show the city the building in context... Show the bank all the varied uses the building will have... ... and on and on... Good luck ! Edited November 6, 2009 by mrcamper
Sketchrender
so does anybody know of reading material or tutorials on the work flow for max to the unreal engine. The basics and up. There are not a lots of posts on this, why not, odd ? From revit what is the process, or is it possible? Is the work flow quick or a lot of work? Thanks Phil
LuckyST
got it a few days ago. I've always been a Quake man... so it'll take a while to get used to this.
